Fun Fridays
Hi all,
From this week, Flyers will begin a series of themed training evenings every Friday (7-8pm for Academy and 7-8.30pm for Development). On these evenings the club will focus on elements such as race skills; relays; distance & pacing; kick, underwater work & streamlining. Water polo will always take place on Fridays during school holidays. These sessions are intended to highlight some important technical aspects of swimming and give members a chance to try out a new distance/pace, while also emphasising the fun aspects of the training programme.
The themes will be chosen at random by the coaching team. These Friday sessions will be taken by Karl West and Lee Adams.
Please come, train hard and have fun.

If anyone hasn’t been contacted but would still like their child to take part, please email me on this address and I will pass it on to coaches. Coaches will inform the children which races they are in on the night. Ages 10 and under will compete in 25m (one length) races; those aged 11 and over will compete in 50m races.
